New drummer here… looking for pads to lower the volume when practicing. What material, what brand names? Any recommended websites to purchase from? Thanks!

I bought HQ “sound off” pads.

They are a rubber material, come individually or in sets, and are cut to fit standard drum sizes. They are reasonably priced and muffle about 90% of The Drum‘s sound.
